Q: Where is Club Equinox located?

Club Equinox does not have a physical location. The venue itself is entirely online — designed as an advanced multiplayer gaming system.

Q: Is Club Equinox a radio program?

Actually no. Club Equinox is a virtual reality nightclub. It features many of the same aspects of a real-life dance party including live DJs, music videos, dating and social interaction, and of course a full-sized dancefloor with intelligent lighting and special effects.

Q: Is the nightclub all ages?

Guests 16 years of age and older are admitted. However, if you are under the age of 18, you should get your parent's permission first. For complete guidelines, please read the door policy.

Q: Is the nightclub free or do I have to pay?

At this point in time, there is no a cover charge or membership fee. However, you must check in at the door prior to entering.

Q: What are the minimum system requirements?

For optimimum performance, we recommend Windows 98 SE, Windows XP, or Windows 2000. You must have DirectX 8.0 or later and a 3D accelerated video card with at least 8 MB of onboard memory.

Q: Does the DJ accept requests?

Yes, the DJ loves requests. In order to ensure that your request can be fulfilled, please submit it early in the night.

Q: Who designed the plans for the club?

The venue was architected and modeled using Strata 3D Professional and is based in-part on a historic nightclub in Illinois.

Q: If I'm an artist, how do I get my music played?

Send an email to promos@clubequinox.com with information on the release you have available and how to obtain it (either online or via CD).

Q: What if I just want to listen to the music?

The goal of Club Equinox is to provide listeners with a unique combination of realtime chat, live DJs, and dance music in an exciting, interactive virtual environment. There are many radio stations available on the Web if you are interested in just hearing music.
